Outdoor lamps

Excellent service. As a first customer there was a chocolate bar in as well which I just thought was a nice touch! The products were slightly larger than I thought but they look perfect and we're really pleased! You'll need 2 light bulbs for each light. We had an electrician fit them all and he said they were very straight forward. The inbuilt timer is a great plus. All round a really great product which I would recommend! Will definitely use Electrical Direct again and have already recommended them to neighbours and friends.

Robust & nicely made. It is stylish and throws out plenty of light with the 5 w led bulbs. Also straight forward to install with basic electrical knowledge.

Great looking up and down wall lights

Nice quality outside light fitting, very happy with every aspect of the purchase. Very easy to install.  The photocell has no adjustment however works perfectly in my application and great match for RAL7016 colour if you're looking to match colour to doors/windows as I was.

Great value

Delivery was excellent (next day). Lights have a nice quality feel and with a 35w LED light in they shine plenty of light up/down. Theyre quite a large light but just what i wanted and look very impressive. Electrical direct are a good company to deal with. Their sales team gave a follow up call to see if i was satisfied with the product etc. Thats a nice touch. Great product. Great company.

Twin wall light

I bought this light to replace a lantern style lamp at the front of my house. It has made such a difference to the appearance of the house not to mention the extra light it emits.  I am so pleased that I have bought more for the back of the house. The dusk to dawn sensor is ideal as I don't have to worry about turning the lights on and off every day.  Delivery was very quick despite a problem with DPD - this was all sorted by customer service. I couldn't be more impressed.

I have been browsing the web for a replacement outside lamp, when I came arias this Lens GU10 Twin Wall Light With Photocell - Anthracite the write ups were good, I placed an order and it arrived the next day.  Easy to instal and looks fantastic, pride and place outside my front door.

Up & down external light

I bought this product a few week's to replace lantern style light so much better, easy to fit using cable already there from old light, now have light from dusk until dawn. Superb

Well Made product

Nice quality product and seems well sealed for the application.  lightbulb changes will be simple with the top and bottom unscrewing.  The only improvement would be simpler connecting blocks - with short cables from the supply in the wall, inserting into the supplied block and screwing the screws in is just about impossible as they are oriented towards the wall.  Had to use separate flex and additional connections to bridge the gap.

Very easy to fit, I have 12 of these and amazingly they all turn on within a minute of each other. Excellent value for money and I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Needed some new lights for outside my front door and came across the Gu10 twin wall light read the reviews and decided I would purchase 2. Extremely pleased with them they give off a lovely warm light and according to my electrian are of very good quality and easy to install.  Had lots of compliments. Price was good so all round good purchase.

These are a very nice looking outside light. I purchased three for the back of the house and they look superb. Very easy to install. Also very easy access for bulb changing by unscrewing the lenses.

Nice and stylish - robust

Bought this dusk to dawn light to replace "yet another" carriage-type light where the sensor packed in. The light looks super, especially with warm-light bulbs. Easy to install  because original carriage light wiring was there.

I bought these to replace some decent solar up down wall lights. These are well made and easy to install. Access to the bulbs are simple too as the tops and bottoms of the lights unscrew to gain access to bulbs.  Much better than fiddling with tiny screws.

They give a decent light even with very low lumen bulbs! Well pleased and once switched on, you don’t have to worry about them as they turn on and off automatically!! Great price and build! Recommended highly!!

Easy to install and looks fantastic. Changing bulbs doesn't involve taking the fitting apart, just unscrew each lense.

Really good quality product. Looks great in anthracite. Bear in mind this is a photocell and not pir, and will be on completely from dusk to dawn.

Classy light

Bought two up and down, dusk til dawn wall lights as it was pitch black outside our front door since council changed the street lights. The lights were fairly easy to install as long as you have some electrical know how, they look great and light up area really well with a nice, welcoming light.  The dusk til dawn sensor works well, even on a north facing wall under a canopy.  I would definitely recommend this product.

Let there be light

These lights were bought to replace PiR fitments already installed on a new build bungalow which didn’t provide the level of light which I wanted.
I spent hours searching for the right light and picked these from all available on the market based on price, style and light level. I was impressed that these fitments are larger than most up/down lights and provide superior light area due to the transparent rings around the circumference of the fitment. They were easy to fit and of good quality construction. They are not the cheapest on the market but I feel well worth the extra cost to get something a bit different.
I am very happy with this purchase and would certainly recommend this product.

Bought two of these for the garage wall. Easy to fit and looks good. Put in a 1.2 watt bulb in the lower section only as it's used as a comfort light. Bright enough in the dark without being overpowering. Ordered another downlighter only version for another wall and that looks good too. For 3.6 watt the side and back are now nicely lit.

Modern light that works

Effortlessly ordered these last week, and they arrived earlier than expected.
The back plate was straightforward to fix to the wall. As the case is all metal theirs an earth wire connecting the back plate to the light fixture. I had to unscrew this for handling purposes while wiring up as wasn't comfortable with main fixture hanging and possibly dropping.
The fitting is slightly askew on it's backing plate, and I was originally going to follow this up with a view to replacing, however due to positioning it isn't noticeable if you're not looking for it.
As well as the up & down fitting, I also bought the down only fitting. One of the grub screws used to fit the front fitting to the wall plate was too short and wouldn't secure the fitting properly. Easily replaced with one I had lying around.

Overall a couple minor issues, but easily overcome in my situation.
